Al-Fajr
سُورَةُ الفَجۡرِ
The Dawn · 30 verses · Meccan
1
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلْفَجْرِ
EN By the dawn
FR Par l'Aube!
ES ¡Por el alba!
2
وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍۢ
EN And [by] ten nights
FR Et par les dix nuits!
ES ¡Por diez noches!
3
وَٱلشَّفْعِ وَٱلْوَتْرِ
EN And [by] the even [number] and the odd
FR Par le pair et l'impair!
ES ¡Por el par y el impar!
4
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَسْرِ
EN And [by] the night when it passes,
FR Et par la nuit quand elle s'écoule!
ES ¡Por la noche cuando transcurre...
5
هَلْ فِى ذَٰلِكَ قَسَمٌۭ لِّذِى حِجْرٍ
EN Is there [not] in [all] that an oath [sufficient] for one of perception?
FR N'est-ce pas là un serment, pour un doué d'intelligence?
ES ¿No es esto un juramento para el dotado de intelecto?
6
أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ
EN Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with 'Aad -
FR N'as-tu pas vu comment ton Seigneur a agi avec les 'Aad
ES ¿No has visto cómo ha obrado tu Señor con los aditas,
7
إِرَمَ ذَاتِ ٱلْعِمَادِ
EN [With] Iram - who had lofty pillars,
FR [avec] Iram, [la cité] à la colonne remarquable,
ES con Iram, la de las columnas,
8
ٱلَّتِى لَمْ يُخْلَقْ مِثْلُهَا فِى ٱلْبِلَٰدِ
EN The likes of whom had never been created in the land?
FR dont jamais pareille ne fut construite parmi les villes?
ES sin par en el país,
9
وَثَمُودَ ٱلَّذِينَ جَابُوا۟ ٱلصَّخْرَ بِٱلْوَادِ
EN And [with] Thamud, who carved out the rocks in the valley?
FR et avec les Thamûd qui taillaient le rocher dans la vallée?
ES con los tamudeos, que excavaron la roca en el valle,
10
وَفِرْعَوْنَ ذِى ٱلْأَوْتَادِ
EN And [with] Pharaoh, owner of the stakes? -
FR ainsi qu'avec Pharaon, l'homme aux épieux?
ES con Faraón el de las estacas,
11
ٱلَّذِينَ طَغَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْبِلَٰدِ
EN [All of] whom oppressed within the lands
FR Tous, étaient des gens qui transgressaient dans [leurs] pays,
ES que se habían excedido en el país
12
فَأَكْثَرُوا۟ فِيهَا ٱلْفَسَادَ
EN And increased therein the corruption.
FR et y avaient commis beaucoup de désordre.
ES y que habían corrompido tanto en él?
13
فَصَبَّ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّكَ سَوْطَ عَذَابٍ
EN So your Lord poured upon them a scourge of punishment.
FR Donc, ton Seigneur déversa sur eux un fouet du châtiment.
ES Tu Señor descargó sobre ellos el azote de un castigo.
14
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِٱلْمِرْصَادِ
EN Indeed, your Lord is in observation.
FR Car ton Seigneur demeure aux aguets.
ES Tu Señor está, sí, al acecho.
15
فَأَمَّا ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ إِذَا مَا ٱبْتَلَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَأَكْرَمَهُۥ وَنَعَّمَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّىٓ أَكْرَمَنِ
EN And as for man, when his Lord tries him and [thus] is generous to him and favors him, he says, "My Lord has honored me."
FR Quant à l'homme, lorsque son Seigneur l'éprouve en l'honorant et en le comblant de bienfaits, il dit: «Mon Seigneur m'a honoré».
ES El hombre, cuando su Señor le prueba honrándolo y concediéndole gracias, dice: «¡Mi Señor me ha honrado!»
16
وَأَمَّآ إِذَا مَا ٱبْتَلَىٰهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّىٓ أَهَٰنَنِ
EN But when He tries him and restricts his provision, he says, "My Lord has humiliated me."
FR Mais par contre, quand Il l'éprouve en lui restreignant sa subsistance, il dit: «Mon Seigneur m'a avili».
ES En cambio. cuando le prueba restringiéndole su sustento, dice: «¡Mi Señor me ha despreciado!»
17
كَلَّا ۖ بَل لَّا تُكْرِمُونَ ٱلْيَتِيمَ
EN No! But you do not honor the orphan
FR Mais non! C'est vous plutôt, qui n'êtes pas généreux envers les orphelins;
ES ¡No! Sois vosotros, más bien, los que no honráis al huérfano,
18
وَلَا تَحَٰٓضُّونَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ
EN And you do not encourage one another to feed the poor.
FR qui ne vous incitez pas mutuellement à nourrir le pauvre,
ES ni os animáis unos a otros a alimentar al pobre,
19
وَتَأْكُلُونَ ٱلتُّرَاثَ أَكْلًۭا لَّمًّۭا
EN And you consume inheritance, devouring [it] altogether,
FR qui dévorez l'héritage avec une avidité vorace,
ES sino que devoráis vorazmente la herencia y
20
وَتُحِبُّونَ ٱلْمَالَ حُبًّۭا جَمًّۭا
EN And you love wealth with immense love.
FR et aimez les richesses d'un amour sans bornes.
ES amáis la hacienda con desordenado amor.
21
كَلَّآ إِذَا دُكَّتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ دَكًّۭا دَكًّۭا
EN No! When the earth has been leveled - pounded and crushed -
FR Prenez garde! Quand la terre sera complètement pulvérisée,
ES ¡No! Cuando la Tierra sea reducida a polvo fino
22
وَجَآءَ رَبُّكَ وَٱلْمَلَكُ صَفًّۭا صَفًّۭا
EN And your Lord has come and the angels, rank upon rank,
FR et que ton Seigneur viendra ainsi que les Anges, rang par rang,
ES y venga tu Señor con los ángeles en filas,
23
وَجِا۟ىٓءَ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بِجَهَنَّمَ ۚ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ
EN And brought [within view], that Day, is Hell - that Day, man will remember, but what good to him will be the remembrance?
FR et que ce jour-là, on amènera l'Enfer; ce jour-là, l'homme se rappellera. Mais à quoi lui servira de se souvenir?
ES ese día se traerá la gehena, ese día el hombre se dejará amonestar -y ¿de qué le servirá entonces la amonestación?-
24
يَقُولُ يَٰلَيْتَنِى قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِى
EN He will say, "Oh, I wish I had sent ahead [some good] for my life."
FR Il dira: «Hélas! Que n'ai-je fait du bien pour ma vie future!
ES y dirá: «¡Ojalá hubiera enviado por delante para mi vida!»
25
فَيَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّا يُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌۭ
EN So on that Day, none will punish [as severely] as His punishment,
FR Ce jour-là donc, nul ne saura châtier comme Lui châtie,
ES Ese día nadie castigará como Él,
26
وَلَا يُوثِقُ وَثَاقَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌۭ
EN And none will bind [as severely] as His binding [of the evildoers].
FR et nul ne saura garrotter comme Lui garrotte.
ES nadie atará como Él.
27
يَٰٓأَيَّتُهَا ٱلنَّفْسُ ٱلْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ
EN [To the righteous it will be said], "O reassured soul,
FR «O toi, âme apaisée,
ES «¡Alma sosegada!
28
ٱرْجِعِىٓ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةًۭ مَّرْضِيَّةًۭ
EN Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him],
FR retourne vers ton Seigneur, satisfaite et agréée;
ES ¡Vuelve a tu Señor, satisfecha, acepta!
29
فَٱدْخُلِى فِى عِبَٰدِى
EN And enter among My [righteous] servants
FR entre donc parmi Mes serviteurs,
ES ¡Y entra con Mis siervos,
30
وَٱدْخُلِى جَنَّتِى
EN And enter My Paradise."
FR et entre dans Mon Paradis».
ES Entra en Mi Jardín!»
