Al-Ghaashiya
سُورَةُ الغَاشِيَةِ
The Overwhelming · 26 verses · Meccan
1
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلْغَٰشِيَةِ
EN Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming [event]?
FR T'est-il parvenu le récit de l'enveloppante?
ES ¿Te has enterado de la historia de la que cubre?
2
وُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَٰشِعَةٌ
EN [Some] faces, that Day, will be humbled,
FR Ce jour-là, il y aura des visages humiliés,
ES Ese día, unos rostros, humillados,
3
عَامِلَةٌۭ نَّاصِبَةٌۭ
EN Working [hard] and exhausted.
FR préoccupés, harassés.
ES preocupados, cansados,
4
تَصْلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةًۭ
EN They will [enter to] burn in an intensely hot Fire.
FR Ils brûleront dans un Feu ardent,
ES arderán en un fuego abrasador.
5
تُسْقَىٰ مِنْ عَيْنٍ ءَانِيَةٍۢ
EN They will be given drink from a boiling spring.
FR et seront abreuvés d'une source bouillante.
ES Se les dará de beber de una fuente hirviente.
6
لَّيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٍۢ
EN For them there will be no food except from a poisonous, thorny plant
FR Il n'y aura pour eux d'autre nourriture que des plantes épineuses [darî'],
ES No tendrán más alimento que de dari,
7
لَّا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِن جُوعٍۢ
EN Which neither nourishes nor avails against hunger.
FR qui n'engraisse, ni n'apaise la faim.
ES que no engorda, ni sacia.
8
وُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ نَّاعِمَةٌۭ
EN [Other] faces, that Day, will show pleasure.
FR Ce jour-là, il y aura des visages épanouis,
ES Otros rostros, ese día, estarán alegres,
9
لِّسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌۭ
EN With their effort [they are] satisfied
FR contents de leurs efforts,
ES satisfechos de su esfuerzo,
10
فِى جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍۢ
EN In an elevated garden,
FR dans un haut Jardin,
ES en un Jardín elevado,
11
لَّا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لَٰغِيَةًۭ
EN Wherein they will hear no unsuitable speech.
FR où ils n'entendent aucune futilité.
ES en el que no se oirá vaniloquio.
12
فِيهَا عَيْنٌۭ جَارِيَةٌۭ
EN Within it is a flowing spring.
FR Là, il y aura une source coulante.
ES Habrá allí una fuente caudalosa,
13
فِيهَا سُرُرٌۭ مَّرْفُوعَةٌۭ
EN Within it are couches raised high
FR Là, des divans élevés
ES lechos elevados,
14
وَأَكْوَابٌۭ مَّوْضُوعَةٌۭ
EN And cups put in place
FR et des coupes posées
ES copas preparadas,
15
وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌۭ
EN And cushions lined up
FR et des coussins rangés
ES cojines alineados
16
وَزَرَابِىُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ
EN And carpets spread around.
FR et des tapis étalés.
ES y alfombras extendidas.
17
أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى ٱلْإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ
EN Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created?
FR Ne considèrent-ils donc pas les chameaux, comment ils ont été créés,
ES ¿Es que no consideran cómo han sido creados los camélidos,
18
وَإِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ
EN And at the sky - how it is raised?
FR et le ciel comment il est élevé,
ES cómo alzado el cielo.
19
وَإِلَى ٱلْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ
EN And at the mountains - how they are erected?
FR et les montagnes comment elles sont dressées
ES cómo erigidas las montañas,
20
وَإِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ
EN And at the earth - how it is spread out?
FR et la terre comment elle est nivelée?
ES cómo extendida la tierra?
21
فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٌۭ
EN So remind, [O Muhammad]; you are only a reminder.
FR Eh bien, rappelle! Tu n'es qu'un rappeleur,
ES ¡Amonesta, pues! Tú eres sólo un monitor,
22
لَّسْتَ عَلَيْهِم بِمُصَيْطِرٍ
EN You are not over them a controller.
FR et tu n'es pas un dominateur sur eux.
ES no tienes autoridad sobre ellos.
23
إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ
EN However, he who turns away and disbelieves -
FR Sauf celui qui tourne le dos et ne croit pas,
ES Sin embargo, a quien se desvíe y no crea,
24
فَيُعَذِّبُهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَكْبَرَ
EN Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment.
FR alors Allah le châtiera du plus grand châtiment.
ES Alá le infligirá el castigo mayor.
25
إِنَّ إِلَيْنَآ إِيَابَهُمْ
EN Indeed, to Us is their return.
FR Vers Nous est leur retour.
ES Volverán todos a Nosotros.
26
ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُم
EN Then indeed, upon Us is their account.
FR Ensuite, c'est à Nous de leur demander compte.
ES Luego, nos tocará a Nosotros pedirles cuentas.
