Abasa
سُورَةُ عَبَسَ
He frowned · 42 verses · Meccan
1
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ عَبَسَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ
EN The Prophet frowned and turned away
FR Il s'est renfrogné et il s'est détourné
ES Frunció las cejasy volvió la espalda,
2
أَن جَآءَهُ ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ
EN Because there came to him the blind man, [interrupting].
FR parce que l'aveugle est venu à lui.
ES porque el ciego vino a él.
3
وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّهُۥ يَزَّكَّىٰٓ
EN But what would make you perceive, [O Muhammad], that perhaps he might be purified
FR Qui te dit: peut-être [cherche]-t-il à se purifier?
ES ¿Quién sabe? Quizá quería purificarse,
4
أَوْ يَذَّكَّرُ فَتَنفَعَهُ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰٓ
EN Or be reminded and the remembrance would benefit him?
FR ou à se rappeler en sorte que le rappel lui profite?
ES o dejarse amonestar y que la amonestación le aprovechara.
5
أَمَّا مَنِ ٱسْتَغْنَىٰ
EN As for he who thinks himself without need,
FR Quant à celui qui se complaît dans sa suffisance (pour sa richesse)
ES A quien es rico
6
فَأَنتَ لَهُۥ تَصَدَّىٰ
EN To him you give attention.
FR tu vas avec empressement à sa rencontre.
ES le dispensas una buena acogida
7
وَمَا عَلَيْكَ أَلَّا يَزَّكَّىٰ
EN And not upon you [is any blame] if he will not be purified.
FR Or, que t'importe qu'il ne se purifie pas».
ES y te tiene sin cuidado que no quiera purificarse.
8
وَأَمَّا مَن جَآءَكَ يَسْعَىٰ
EN But as for he who came to you striving [for knowledge]
FR Et quant à celui qui vient à toi avec empressement
ES En cambio, de quien viene a ti, corriendo,
9
وَهُوَ يَخْشَىٰ
EN While he fears [Allah],
FR tout en ayant la crainte,
ES con miedo de Alá,
10
فَأَنتَ عَنْهُ تَلَهَّىٰ
EN From him you are distracted.
FR tu ne t'en soucies pas.
ES te despreocupas.
11
كَلَّآ إِنَّهَا تَذْكِرَةٌۭ
EN No! Indeed, these verses are a reminder;
FR N'agis plus ainsi! Vraiment ceci est un rappel -
ES ¡No! Es un Recuerdo,
12
فَمَن شَآءَ ذَكَرَهُۥ
EN So whoever wills may remember it.
FR quiconque veut, donc, s'en rappelle -
ES que recordará quien quiera,
13
فِى صُحُفٍۢ مُّكَرَّمَةٍۢ
EN [It is recorded] in honored sheets,
FR consigné dans des feuilles honorées,
ES contenido en hojas veneradas,
14
مَّرْفُوعَةٍۢ مُّطَهَّرَةٍۭ
EN Exalted and purified,
FR élevées, purifiées,
ES sublimes, purificadas,
15
بِأَيْدِى سَفَرَةٍۢ
EN [Carried] by the hands of messenger-angels,
FR entre les mains d'ambassadeurs
ES escrito por mano de escribas
16
كِرَامٍۭ بَرَرَةٍۢ
EN Noble and dutiful.
FR nobles, obéissants.
ES nobles, píos.
17
قُتِلَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَآ أَكْفَرَهُۥ
EN Cursed is man; how disbelieving is he.
FR Que périsse l'homme! Qu'il est ingrat!
ES ¡Maldito sea el hombre! ¡Qué desagradecido es!
18
مِنْ أَىِّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقَهُۥ
EN From what substance did He create him?
FR De quoi [Allah] l'a-t-Il créé?
ES ¿De qué lo ha creado Él?
19
مِن نُّطْفَةٍ خَلَقَهُۥ فَقَدَّرَهُۥ
EN From a sperm-drop He created him and destined for him;
FR D'une goutte de sperme, Il le crée et détermine (son destin):
ES De una gota lo ha creado y determinado;
20
ثُمَّ ٱلسَّبِيلَ يَسَّرَهُۥ
EN Then He eased the way for him;
FR puis Il lui facilite le chemin;
ES luego, le ha facilitado el camino;
21
ثُمَّ أَمَاتَهُۥ فَأَقْبَرَهُۥ
EN Then He causes his death and provides a grave for him.
FR puis Il lui donne la mort et le met au tombeau;
ES luego, le ha hecho morir y ser sepultado;
22
ثُمَّ إِذَا شَآءَ أَنشَرَهُۥ
EN Then when He wills, He will resurrect him.
FR puis Il le ressuscitera quand Il voudra.
ES luego, cuando É quiera, le resucitará.
23
كَلَّا لَمَّا يَقْضِ مَآ أَمَرَهُۥ
EN No! Man has not yet accomplished what He commanded him.
FR Eh bien non! [L'homme] n'accomplit pas ce qu'Il lui commande.
ES ¡No! No ha cumplido aún lo que Él le ha ordenado.
24
فَلْيَنظُرِ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ إِلَىٰ طَعَامِهِۦٓ
EN Then let mankind look at his food -
FR Que l'homme considère donc sa nourriture:
ES ¡Que mire el hombre su alimento!
25
أَنَّا صَبَبْنَا ٱلْمَآءَ صَبًّۭا
EN How We poured down water in torrents,
FR C'est Nous qui versons l'eau abondante,
ES Nosotros hemos derramado el agua en abundancia;!
26
ثُمَّ شَقَقْنَا ٱلْأَرْضَ شَقًّۭا
EN Then We broke open the earth, splitting [it with sprouts],
FR puis Nous fendons la terre par fissures
ES luego, hendido la tierra profundamente
27
فَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا حَبًّۭا
EN And caused to grow within it grain
FR et y faisons pousser grains,
ES y hecho crecer en ella grano,
28
وَعِنَبًۭا وَقَضْبًۭا
EN And grapes and herbage
FR vignobles et légumes,
ES vides, hortalizas,
29
وَزَيْتُونًۭا وَنَخْلًۭا
EN And olive and palm trees
FR oliviers et palmiers,
ES olivos, palmeras,
30
وَحَدَآئِقَ غُلْبًۭا
EN And gardens of dense shrubbery
FR jardins touffus,
ES frondosos jardines,
31
وَفَٰكِهَةًۭ وَأَبًّۭا
EN And fruit and grass -
FR fruits et herbages,
ES frutas, pastos,
32
مَّتَٰعًۭا لَّكُمْ وَلِأَنْعَٰمِكُمْ
EN [As] enjoyment for you and your grazing livestock.
FR pour votre jouissance vous et vos bestiaux.
ES para disfrute vuestro y de vuestros rebaños.
33
فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلصَّآخَّةُ
EN But when there comes the Deafening Blast
FR Puis quand viendra le Fracas,
ES Pero, cuando venga el Estruendo,
34
يَوْمَ يَفِرُّ ٱلْمَرْءُ مِنْ أَخِيهِ
EN On the Day a man will flee from his brother
FR le jour où l'homme s'enfuira de son frère,
ES el día que el hombre huya de su hermano,
35
وَأُمِّهِۦ وَأَبِيهِ
EN And his mother and his father
FR de sa mère, de son père,
ES de su madre y de su padre,
36
وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَبَنِيهِ
EN And his wife and his children,
FR de sa compagne et de ses enfants,
ES de su compañera y de sus hijos varones,
37
لِكُلِّ ٱمْرِئٍۢ مِّنْهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ شَأْنٌۭ يُغْنِيهِ
EN For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him.
FR car chacun d'eux, ce jour-là, aura son propre cas pour l'occuper.
ES ese día, cada cual tendrá bastante consigo mismo.
38
وُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ مُّسْفِرَةٌۭ
EN [Some] faces, that Day, will be bright -
FR Ce jour-là, il y aura des visages rayonnants,
ES Ese día, unos rostros estarán radiantes,
39
ضَاحِكَةٌۭ مُّسْتَبْشِرَةٌۭ
EN Laughing, rejoicing at good news.
FR riants et réjouis.
ES risueños, alegres,
40
وَوُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَلَيْهَا غَبَرَةٌۭ
EN And [other] faces, that Day, will have upon them dust.
FR De même qu'il y aura, ce jour-là, des visages couverts de poussière,
ES mientras que otros, ese día, tendrán polvo encima,
41
تَرْهَقُهَا قَتَرَةٌ
EN Blackness will cover them.
FR recouverts de ténèbres.
ES los cubrirá una negrura:
42
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْكَفَرَةُ ٱلْفَجَرَةُ
EN Those are the disbelievers, the wicked ones.
FR Voilà les infidèles, les libertins.
ES ésos serán los infieles, los pecadores.
