Al-Qiyaama
سُورَةُ القِيَامَةِ
The Resurrection · 40 verses · Meccan
1
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ لَآ أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
EN I swear by the Day of Resurrection
FR Non!... Je jure par le Jour de la Résurrection!
ES ¡No! ¡Juro por el día de la Resurreción!
2
وَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلنَّفْسِ ٱللَّوَّامَةِ
EN And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection].
FR Mais non!, Je jure par l'âme qui ne cesse de se blâmer.
ES ¡Que no! ¡Juro por el alma que reprueba!
3
أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَلَّن نَّجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُۥ
EN Does man think that We will not assemble his bones?
FR L'homme, pense-t-il que Nous ne réunirons jamais ses os?
ES ¿Cree el hombre que no juntaremos sus huesos?
4
بَلَىٰ قَٰدِرِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّسَوِّىَ بَنَانَهُۥ
EN Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips.
FR Mais si! Nous sommes Capable de remettre à leur place les extrémités de ses doigts.
ES ¡Claro que sí! Somos capaces de recomponer sus dedos.
5
بَلْ يُرِيدُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُۥ
EN But man desires to continue in sin.
FR L'homme voudrait plutôt continuer à vivre en libertin.
ES Pero el hombre preferiría continuar viviendo como un libertino.
6
يَسْـَٔلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
EN He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?"
FR Il interroge: «A quand, le Jour de la Résurrection?»
ES Pregunta: «¿Cuándo será el día de la Resurrección?»
7
فَإِذَا بَرِقَ ٱلْبَصَرُ
EN So when vision is dazzled
FR Lorsque la vue sera éblouie,
ES Cuando se ofusque la vista,
8
وَخَسَفَ ٱلْقَمَرُ
EN And the moon darkens
FR et que la lune s'éclipsera,
ES se eclipse la luna,
9
وَجُمِعَ ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ
EN And the sun and the moon are joined,
FR et que le soleil et la lune seront réunis,
ES se reúnan el sol y la luna,
10
يَقُولُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ ٱلْمَفَرُّ
EN Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape?"
FR l'homme, ce jour-là, dira: «Où fuir?»
ES ese día, el hombre dirá: «Y ¿adónde escapar?»
11
كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَ
EN No! There is no refuge.
FR Non! Point de refuge!
ES ¡No! ¡No habrá escape!
12
إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمُسْتَقَرُّ
EN To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence.
FR Vers ton Seigneur sera, ce jour-là, le retour.
ES Ese día, el lugar de descanso estará junto a tu Señor.
13
يُنَبَّؤُا۟ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ
EN Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back.
FR L'homme sera informé ce jour-là de ce qu'il aura avancé et de ce qu'il aura remis à plus tard.
ES Ese día, ya se le informará al hombre de lo que hizo y de lo que dejó de hacer.
14
بَلِ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِۦ بَصِيرَةٌۭ
EN Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness,
FR Mais l'homme sera un témoin perspicace contre lui-même,
ES ¡Más aún! El hombre testificará contra sí mismo,
15
وَلَوْ أَلْقَىٰ مَعَاذِيرَهُۥ
EN Even if he presents his excuses.
FR quand même il présenterait ses excuses.
ES aun cuando presente sus excusas.
16
لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِۦ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِۦٓ
EN Move not your tongue with it, [O Muhammad], to hasten with recitation of the Qur'an.
FR Ne remue pas ta langue pour hâter sa récitation:
ES No muevas la lengua al recitarlo para precipitarla!
17
إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُۥ وَقُرْءَانَهُۥ
EN Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation.
FR Son rassemblement (dans ton cœur et sa fixation dans ta mémoire) Nous incombent, ainsi que la façon de le réciter.
ES ¡Somos Nosotros los encargados de juntarlo y de recitarlo!
18
فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَٰهُ فَٱتَّبِعْ قُرْءَانَهُۥ
EN So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation.
FR Quand donc Nous le récitons, suis sa récitation.
ES Y, cuando lo recitemos, ¡sigue la recitación!
19
ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُۥ
EN Then upon Us is its clarification [to you].
FR A Nous, ensuite incombera son explication.
ES Luego, a Nosotros nos toca explicarlo.
20
كَلَّا بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ
EN No! But you love the immediate
FR Mais vous aimez plutôt [la vie] éphémère,
ES Pero ¡no! En lugar de eso, amáis la vida fugaz
21
وَتَذَرُونَ ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ
EN And leave the Hereafter.
FR et vous délaissez l'au-delà.
ES y descuidáis la otra vida.
22
وُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ نَّاضِرَةٌ
EN [Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant,
FR Ce jour-là, il y aura des visages resplendissants
ES Ese día, unos rostros brillarán,
23
إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌۭ
EN Looking at their Lord.
FR qui regarderont leur Seigneur;
ES mirando a su Señor,
24
وَوُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بَاسِرَةٌۭ
EN And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted,
FR et il y aura ce jour-là, des visages assombris,
ES mientras que otros, ese día, estarán tristes,
25
تَظُنُّ أَن يُفْعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٌۭ
EN Expecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking.
FR qui s'attendent à subir une catastrophe.
ES pensando que una calamidad les alcance.
26
كَلَّآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلتَّرَاقِىَ
EN No! When the soul has reached the collar bones
FR Mais non! Quand [l'âme] en arrive aux clavicules
ES ¡No! Cuando suba hasta las clavículas,
27
وَقِيلَ مَنْ ۜ رَاقٍۢ
EN And it is said, "Who will cure [him]?"
FR et qu'on dit: «Qui est exorciseur?»
ES se diga: «¿quién es encantador?»,
28
وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ ٱلْفِرَاقُ
EN And the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation
FR et qu'il [l'agonisant] est convaincu que c'est la séparation (la mort),
ES crea llegado el momento de la separación
29
وَٱلْتَفَّتِ ٱلسَّاقُ بِٱلسَّاقِ
EN And the leg is wound about the leg,
FR et que la jambe s'enlace à la jambe,
ES y se junte una pierna con otra,
30
إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمَسَاقُ
EN To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession.
FR c'est vers ton Seigneur, ce jour-là que tu seras conduit.
ES ese día la marcha será hacia tu Señor.
31
فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا صَلَّىٰ
EN And the disbeliever had not believed, nor had he prayed.
FR Mais il n'a ni cru, ni fait la Salât;
ES No creyó, ni oró,
32
وَلَٰكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
EN But [instead], he denied and turned away.
FR par contre, il a démenti et tourné le dos,
ES antes bien, desmintió y se desvió.
33
ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ يَتَمَطَّىٰٓ
EN And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride].
FR puis il s'en est allé vers sa famille, marchant avec orgueil.
ES Luego, se volvió a los suyos con andar altanero.
34
أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰ
EN Woe to you, and woe!
FR «Malheur à toi, malheur!»
ES ¡Ay de ti! ¡Ay!
35
ثُمَّ أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰٓ
EN Then woe to you, and woe!
FR Et encore malheur à toi, malheur!
ES ¡Sí! ¡Ay de ti! ¡Ay!
36
أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَن يُتْرَكَ سُدًى
EN Does man think that he will be left neglected?
FR L'homme pense-t-il qu'on le laissera sans obligation à observer?
ES ¿Cree el hombre que no van a ocuparse de él?
37
أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةًۭ مِّن مَّنِىٍّۢ يُمْنَىٰ
EN Had he not been a sperm from semen emitted?
FR N'était-il pas une goutte de sperme éjaculé?
ES ¿No fue una gota de esperma eyaculada
38
ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةًۭ فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ
EN Then he was a clinging clot, and [Allah] created [his form] and proportioned [him]
FR Et ensuite une adhérence Puis [Allah] l'a créée et formée harmonieusement;
ES y, luego, un coágulo de sangre? Él lo creó y le dio forma armoniosa.
39
فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ ٱلزَّوْجَيْنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ
EN And made of him two mates, the male and the female.
FR puis en a fait alors les deux éléments de couple: le mâle et la femelle?
ES E hizo de él una pareja: varón y hembra.
40
أَلَيْسَ ذَٰلِكَ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يُحْۦِىَ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ
EN Is not that [Creator] Able to give life to the dead?
FR Celui-là [Allah] n'est-Il pas capable de faire revivre les morts?
ES Ese tal ¿no será capaz de devolver la vida a los muertos?
